How To Ask For Help #4 - Understand that simple sometimes isnt

There are somethings that sound easy and indeed are. Other things that sound easy, are not, or have other prerequisites that must be completed first. So please don't get all 'in ya face' when your IT person gives you a time frame of a couple of weeks to get the change implemented. In many cases you are only seeing the tip of the iceberg.
Not only that, but usually, your IT guy will be in the middle of some other 'important' task, and switching gears, even for a moment, can make you loose your train of thought, requiring back tracking and re-doing tasks.
The best thing to do, is make sure that you make your request in good time and give your IT guy as much info as you can.
